Measures to support accessibility
Humanity Media takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of humanitymedia.net:
- Automated accessibility testing against WCAG 2.1 AA is run on a recurring schedule, most recently on September 2, 2026.
- Issues identified by testing are tracked and remediated in the site's source code, not masked by an overlay.
- An accessibility toolbar is available on every page (the icon in the corner of the screen) offering contrast, text size, spacing, dyslexia-friendly font, reading guide, and motion controls. The toolbar is hosted on this site and sends no data to third parties.

- Image buttons must have alternative text (WCAG 1.1.1, 4.1.2) — found on 1 page.
- Links must have discernible text (WCAG 2.4.4, 4.1.2) — found on 10 pages.
- Elements must meet minimum color contrast ratio thresholds (WCAG 1.4.3) — found on 7 pages.
- Links must be distinguishable without relying on color (WCAG 1.4.1) — found on 1 page.
- Zooming and scaling must not be disabled (WCAG 1.4.4) — found on 10 pages.
